Visit to DGIR Office

This visit to the Director General of Industrial Relations Office at the Human Resources Ministry in Putrajaya was actually a class trip for the subject "Industrial Relations Law" which I took last semester. However, due to time constraint, my batch last semester didn't have the opportunity to organize a class trip.

This semester, my lecturer Prof Dr Nik Ahmad Kamal Nik Mahmood had invited me and my bacth of IR class to join the present batch to the DGIR office. Only two of us were able to follow the trip.

It was a nice experience, although the trip was just about going there and listening to the briefings. It gave me a clearer picture about the role of the Industrial Relation Department in settling trade disputes. While listening to the briefing, we were served with nasi goreng and kuih. Just what we need with an early morning trip without prior breakfast. :)

By 12pm, the session ended and we gathered for a group photo and went back to IIUM soon after.
